All of our personal training services deliver 100% individualized workouts, but each is designed for different needs.

If you want real personal training and are willing to share your trainer, our semi-private training is the perfect fit. It is the optimal balance of attention and direction from your trainer and motivation from the like-minded community around you. No experience is required—our trainers meet you where you are and guide you every step of the way.

Want a one-on-one environment with the undivided attention of your personal trainer? Then our 1-on-1 personal training is right for you! This service is best for those who have extreme limitations, injuries, or postural imbalances they would like to address, or those seeking sports-specific training.

If you are located outside of Arizona or want an individualized fitness program for the lowest cost, then our virtual personal training is right for you! All of your virtual workouts will be designed by a real, expert trainer using our cutting edge app, who will take out all the guesswork and help you progress safely towards your specific goals for maximum results.

How do I get started?

Getting started with a new workout routine can be overwhelming and confusing, but it doesn't have to be! We’ve simplified our process to 3 easy steps:

2) Come for free trial workout, no strings attached.
3) Choose the membership that's right for you and start working out with an individualized program!

Are there any contracts or long-term commitments?

There are no long-term contracts or commitments with your Fitness Collective membership. We rely on our ability to deliver the fitness results you want to keep you satisfied with your membership. We bill on a monthly basis, and you have the freedom to make adjustments to your membership anytime.

What if I'm worried about working out with my injury?

Accepted Answer

We always recommend that you check with your doctor before starting any new fitness regimen.

However, you can rest assured that our team specializes in working with clients 40+ who have limitations—from arthritis and joint replacements to chronic pain.

After 15+ years and thousands of clients, we've seen just about everything in the book and will work with you directly to create a program you are comfortable with.

What's the difference between semi-private and 1-on-1 personal training?

Both options give you individualized workouts tailored to your goals, limitations, and fitness level—the difference comes down to the level of attention from your trainer and the atmosphere.

1-on-1 personal training means you have your trainer’s undivided attention for the entire session. It’s the most private and premium option, ideal if you have significant injuries/limitations, want faster progress, or simply prefer a completely exclusive experience.
Semi-private personal training gives you the same customized workout, but you share your trainer with up to 5 other members. Your trainer coaches each person through their own individualized program, offering adjustments and accountability, while you benefit from the motivation and energy of training alongside others. It’s a more affordable way to get personal training without sacrificing customization.

In short: if you want maximum privacy and attention, go with 1-on-1. If you’d enjoy community energy and cost savings, semi-private is the perfect fit.

How much time do I get with my trainer in a semi-private personal training session?

In our semi-private environment, your personal trainer will be training up to 5 other members in addition to you. Our trainers are excellent at spending adequate time with each member to ensure you are performing all exercises correctly with the proper form, load, tempo and rest.

Since every session is different, we cannot give a specific number. But we consider all of our members family, and we love to spend as much time as possible with each of you during training sessions!

Do I work with the same trainer for all of my sessions?

Not necessarily—and that’s actually a benefit of our program. At Fitness Collective, we are all part of one team, and we "share" all of our members. Our aim is to "train as one trainer," while still allowing room for everyone's personalities to shine.

Each trainer at Fitness Collective follows the same proven system and has access to your individualized plan, progress and injury notes, and goals. That means no matter who you work with, you’ll always get a safe, effective workout tailored to you.

Many of our members enjoy working with different trainers because it gives them fresh perspectives, new cues, and a variety of coaching styles—while still staying consistent with their plan.
