Every Healthy Meal Should Contain These 4 Things

Spring is coming! And when we think of spring, we often think of cleaning! Today I want to encourage you to clean up your nutrition (and potentially shed a few pounds before summer).

In this issue, I am going to share my favorite nutrition "plan" for weight management and healthy living. The plan I suggest is based around including 4 main components in every meal. I like it because it's simple, easy to remember, and (most importantly) effective. I didn't come up with this on my own, though. I originally heard about it from Kelly Leveque, a celebrity nutritionist. She calls it "The Fab Four."

I have encouraged clients to eat this way for years and continue to return to this as my foundational recommendation for those who want to lose weight. Read on to learn more about each of these 4 components of a meal. 

Making these 4 components the foundation of all meals will certainly help to clean up your nutrition. If you consistently consume 3 meals a day while following this outline you will be well on your way to achieving your weight loss goals!
